Serena Stephen currently serves as Company Secretary at Harcourt Patterson Group. HPG is a specialist headhunting and consultancy firm catering to algorithmic trading and quantitative hedge clients around the world. Serena brings a wealth of Admin experience in investment banking, prop and agency electronic trading, start-ups, academic clinical research and public healthcare. Serena has most recently worked at Citadel Securities in Admin & Client Onboarding. Prior to that she worked in various admin functions at Plexal, GETCO/KCG, and Royal Bank of Scotland in the Debt Capital Markets team. Serena was born and raised in London, and studied English and French Literature at the University of York.
Matthew Patterson founded Harcourt Patterson Group in 2020 and currently serves as Managing Director. HPG is a specialist headhunting and consultancy firm catering to algorithmic trading and quantitative hedge clients around the world. Prior to founding the firm, Matthew spent 18 years in technology, operations and business development roles at trading houses Mako, Hudson River Trading, and Sun Trading. Matthew is originally from the western suburbs of Chicago, and has lived in the UK since 2011.
